Is it possible to have a feature where you can know when you've been blocked by someone?

So therefore, when a contact has blocked me, and they appear on my list as Offline, when they are infact Online, is there a feature that can detect that ive been blocked, and show me that they are infact online, and im on their blocked list?

This is a common suggestion however there are 2 problems with implementing it.

1) Its a major invasion of privacy, so Patchou would never add it
2) Its actually impossible to do with the protocol. There was once a hole in it that block checkers could exploit. It has since been fixed.

In short the answer is no

its still somewut helpful.. many people on my list dont use the "block ppl not on my contact list" option.. so it will still tell you if they blocked u...

just means its not 100% accurate.. more like 25% "false negetive"

unfortunately doesnt really matter cuz triople is permantly down now..

And just by this fact alone, it isn't reliable at all!!! Or do you exactly know who has the "block ppl not on my contact list" option on or off? No, you can't know that for sure, so blockcheckers are NOT reliable at all...

it IS helpful...

if it says they are online. then they are online. there are no false positives.. only false negetives...

just sometimes it doesnt say they are online

so if it says they are offline.... then they either ARE offline.. or turned that option on to be hidden by triople...

if it says they are online.. then they are online and if u dont see them online then they blocked u

yea, only works one way. if they are offline in ur list but online on triople, that means that they blocked u. if they are offline on both sides, it means nothing
