I was having a conversation with a friend and text was being written with my nick and my font, without me actually touching my keyboard. I see only 2 possible scenarios:

1. My friend got his hands on some Messenger exploit or was changing his nick and font back and forth...

2. A third party somehow hacked into my messenger and started writing for me...

Anybody here heard of something like this?

I got quite upset with my friend because some obscenities were being typed and whoever it was, was making a fool out of me, so any help is appreciated.

well theres your answer that your msn messenger account isnt hacked in the first place because if you were logged on and somebody else used your username and pasword you would've been logged out... so it isnt hacked

what did your friend say when you asked him/her what was going on ??

When I told him what was going on he said it wasn't him.

Later I called him on his phone and he gave me some answers that sounded odd...

I suspect it was him... but I'm not quite sure.

this is a feature of messenger discovery called !imitate

the person using this feature can "imitate" the other contact's nickname and font face and color and msg to that person

EDIT: you don't have to worry because you are NOT being hacked, all he/she is doing is copying your nickname and font style then sending messages

No one hacked you.. This same problem was posted a couple days ago..

i just used messenger discovery on this *lousy* computer and was having fun imitating

and if you don't want your memory filled you can also use gilly messenger without having all those shit around it.

clean and working.. =)
