is there a way to disable the sound from "play an emocon sound" ?
i don't like to be "WoWED" out of nowhere

also, is there a way to personalize a sign in msg similar to the way there can be alerts on AIM

Plus> Preferences> Instant Messages> Commands and tags > and untick "allow sound commands"

There can be a sound if you want...Right click your contacts name> Messenger Plus! Extras> sound events.

Theres no special message.
