i got some prob to load a image signature,
somebody can tell me how?

first you need to find a host to host the image, then upload the image to that host

in your signature add:

And the size i need is...??

what do you mean by size? file size? or image dimensions?

there's no limit on file size (unless there is for your host)
image dimensions should be MAXIMUM 4cm*20cm probably make it half of that size (2cm*10cm)

Avatars & Signatures: Large dimensions and file sizes are not allowed because they can affect the layout of forum pages. The rules for posts apply to avatars/signatures as well.

• Maximum signature dimensions: 590 pixels wide, 125 pixels high.

Don't forget too that with an image link to your host, your bandwidth is being used when people browse the forums.  This could add up considerably, especially if it is a larger image.  You want to make sure you have a large enough data/traffic limit with your host to allow for this.

Imagesizes are given in pixels, not in centimeters. What if I have a huge monitor or a very small monitor?

Yes thats true about giving the dimensions in pixels. But in fireworks and other painting and graphic programs it also asks for cm if you dont know what pixels are.. And btw he doesnt know how to put an image it looks like hes a n00b... -_-

it's "newbie" not "n00b"! They are very different things! I was having a discussion on this in another forum.

at the time i wrote my post, I totally forgot about different resolution having different size... and i didn't know how many pixels in a centimetre with my resolution and i happened to have a ruler on my desk. so........ w/e

No, measuerments in cm are not used when you "don't know the size in pixels", but when you know the DPI for the image or the DPI of the device were you're image is going to be (printer, screen, colorpress, scanner, banner, etc).
This is mainly used in DTP. You should not use centimeters if you don't know why exactly you use it and if you don't know how to work with it and what it exactly means. Using cm is certainly not meant for the beginner.

Furthermore giving a size number only in cm is useless and doesn't say a single thing about the size of the image in pixelsize!! The image can still be any size in pixels from eg: 10 pixels to 321564876 pixels width... If you don't understand that, then don't give a measurement in cm.

That doesn't make any sense, if you don't know the DPI (not the resolution! that doesn't even matter) you shouldn't give a measurement in cm as it will still say nothing...

eg: my screen can be the same resolution as yours, yet 2,5cm is not the same size in pixels as on your screen!

It is noble the try to help out, but this realy didn't help. In fact it was complete wrong info.
