i have installed it all and when i insert the 1st disk to play it comes up with the logo thing and then like 10 minutes later it says please insert correct cd and restart application. i am inserting the right disk and i uninstalled the game and then tried again and it still came up with that =/
anybody know whats up with it?

Have you made sure you meet or exceed the minimum system recquirements?

Retuen to the store and get new one. Might be a messed up disk.

You using any virtual drive software on your comp? If so uninstall it and the try to play it

yeh i had the problem with the Drive Emulation thingy
when i uninstalled Clone Cd it was fine

Maybe the CD is dirty? If it is, try to clean it up. If that doesn't work, I'd go back to the store, and ask for a new one. You might want to check EA/The Sims' website first, because there might be a patch available for it if it's a bug.
