hi i m using apache server for webserver...

it is working  nicely... but i need one more thing...

apache has a only one way to log files in txt file... so it's hard to see who is surfing when , howlong... etc...

so i want to make a page which can ask a person what is his name and store his ip and name in somewhere... organized...

how can do it...

just simple ask for the name... and then store his name and ip in excel file or some other format...

If you want their name, I suggest you install php for apache and use that.  Google for php tutorials, there are loads.  And then you will either want a file solution or a mysql one.  If you're content with just ips, you could also just install some apache logging software such as awstat
