i like the web interface, but i'm trying to use thunderbird to organise them, atm gmail online is winning

Yeah that's what I like about gmail too. No stupid flash advertisements on top or complex gui to load like Hotmail. |

yeah exactly how i feel, the only thing i'll possibly use of this pop3 will be using plus to check it instead of my firefox extension  |

Did you Configure it to look on Port 587 ? your smpt port?

Can someone take a screen shot of the settings in Msg Plus! I know what to do with my username/password and email address, but I'm not sure what server/port thing I need to use.  |

U need this info which you can find in your Gmail help center:
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server – requires SSL: pop.gmail.com
Use SSL: Yes
Port: 995
Does Msgplus support SSL by the way?...  ...
