I was able to remove the blank bar a few weeks ago with the all in one mess patch. Then I restarted my msn today cos my event window was filling up. and it suddenly appears again. i have tried everything, reinstall etc. nothing works. the mestaline patch doesnt work for me. i have the newest version of beta messenger plus. any suggestions? its really an annoying bar.

Same here . That stupid bar as back and so is the search thing at the bottom, weird. Oh well, it's Beta, what esle can you expect I guess. It's just very weird that all of a sudden it's back and I'm not the only one with the problem.

Um, how strange. This blank bar and search bar appeared last night and stayed until just now. I just refreshed my msn and its gone. so weird. haha

Haha, how strange indeed. I just restarted my Messenger too and they're gone, weird. Well anyway, I'm happy that they're gone.

They'll be back again soon

From Mastaline.com I found a patch that will hide that bar, even in the new 7.0.0425 version, not sure how long it will last...
