This is not a bug. This is by design. As Traxor said, you need to close (aka: reset) your colors at the end of your name. Do this by pressing CTRL+O.
* The command
/nick does just that, it puts a CTRL+O tag after your name, making it to reset all the colors back to default.
* The command
/nick2 doesn't do that and with this you can color the "says:" if you like.
