In the past, Microsoft has often released patches/fixes to repair holes in their products, but in doing so, they open up new ones :dodgy:

They put in all these crappy features for n00bs who use MSN Messenger for playing games and such. Microsoft just want Messenger to be more useful to the average 13 year old User :).

Erm...The white bar at the bottom of your window isnt a glitch, and isnt caused by Messenger Plus!.

It is intended to provide some more content to users.  Its unsure what the content is at this time.  The only reason I am saying this as a Beta Tester is because its already been said by others.

the latest news from http://www.mess.be is that the white bar is more like some "advert" . a screeny shows a link to the halo 2 official website.
