I'm thinking about getting an mp3 player as one of my presents for christmas, I don't want an expensive one cause knowing my school, some townies will steal it or something, i'm looking for something around 256mb between £1-100.. Does anyone have an suggestions, i'm from the UK,

comet and places like it (eg currys, dixons). are selling them for like £50/60 pounds

theres 1 in argos for £179 its beta than th ipod

I might get that one, either that or the other Philips SOund Jukebox or whatever it is.. any more suggestions?

I'm selling one's that came from Hong Kong, the brand is ZotMp3 and the're really good. They have 256Mb and voice recorder. For about 90uss.

If you want a mp3 (flash) player with a good menu and options (like scrolling ur tracklist, which most small (flash!) mp3 players don't have) you may wanna choose an iRiver.

I've got the iRiver iFP-180T and my brother has got the iFP-380T (see picture).



Both are 128 mb but they have enough models with 256 or more. The price for a 256 one is around 120 - 160 euro's here in holland. (i.E. the iFP-190TC or the iFP-890).

The thing about iRiver I like the most is the battery time. My iFP-180 uses one AA battery with a battery time around 20 hours.

is there are kind of small portable player that can play videos. like mpeg and avi and stuff like that?

There are many including the Creative Zen Media Center and the Iriver version .
