Well, it appears that since this news entry in main Plus! site, the date of a news entry is in the form of DD/MM/YYYY (like 27/11/2004 standing for Nov. 27th 2004). But before that, it was MM/DD/YYYY (also as in previous page). The inconsistency may cause some misunderstandings...

well it should be all changed to DD/MM/YYYY because that looks the more sensible

To those who use the D/M/Y format, yes. For those who use M/D/Y format it will look strange.

Either way, what Mnjul means is that it should be the same, one or the other....

How about having the month abreviations written in... this way you can't confuse 'May' with 05 or Feb with 02

I prefer it as 27/11/85 (my bro's bday ) it looks much better

tbh, you never know which way its gonna be, so having the month written is a good idea would stop alot of confusion

YYYY/MM/DD is the standard, so go figure

Why not just "12 Dec 2004"?

Actually, it's:
YYYY-MM-DD
Causes less problems in data processing.
