why not do the right thing an advertise it? an see if anyone claims it?

I think he gave it in to a police station. That's why if no one claims it in a few days it will be his.

Actually ive heard of that.. if no one claims the thing you found within a certain amount of hours/days it becomes yours.. or something but i dunno, could be different in some places.

It is definitely how it works here. My brother once found a wallet on the side of the road and we turned it in. We were told that if no one claimed it in the next two weeks (I think) then we could keep it. Problem was it had the persons phone number in it, so they came and picked it up .

Well 1 time I turned in (low end) PDA and checked back a month later. Nobody had claimed it, but they wouldn't let me have it (which is why I don't turn shit in anymore unless it has a name and/or phone number in it.)

any pictures on it? you could try and identify the person (unrealistic i guess)

lucky you very purdy. i also found a wallet/purse and there was like 100 bucks in it, but i returned it because im a nice girl
