Ok then, so i try to install, it does 99% of it and this comes up...

"An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.Windows.Networking.RtcDll,type="win32",version="5.2.3.3",publicKeyToken="6595b64144cc

I press ok it uninstalls what its installed and then when it closes another window pops up saying...

"MSN Messenger setup failed with error code '1603'. Please go to the MSN Messenger Web site and download the software from there."

I tryed this site i couldnt find anything....

On mess.be it says...

"1) Click Start > Run
2) Type msiexec /unreg and press enter and wait until it appears to have finished.
3) Go back to Start > Run
4) Type msiexec /regserver and press enter.
5) Try to install MSN Messenger 6 again. Good luck!"

I tryed this... Nada.

Try installing in safemode. Also this might be caused by AdWatch (part of adaware SE pro), turn that off and try again

I don't know if this will work but if there's nothing else you can do then try this. First unistall (or atleast try to). Ok then run a program like system mechanic which has a registry scanner. Run it and remove any invalid registries that it shows. You can use any other good registry scanner but i cant help you about which one is free and good cause i use system mechanic . Newayz after doin this reg scan reboot your pc and then download this file. Its "Msn Msg 7 Beta" from "Official Windows Site" (Dunno where you got it from)

Then install that newly downloaded file and i guess it should work. If it doesn't then man your luck is bad. Wait till the full (non beta) version of msg 7 comes out

and i am using the file i downloaded from windows.com like 5 days ago... i will redownload.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr, i had it installed.... then i went back to msn 6.2

Ive now unistalled that aswell,  and tryed.... nothing.

What do ya mean. Did ya try my procedure ?? Did it work ??

Did u try removing regs and reinstall 7 mabbe that'll work. If not I dunno Im stumped. I'll have to check back on that one

i did all suggested... not working

on another note, my firefox isnt working now... so i am using BT Yahoo! Internet browser.
