well, it's still the official french messenger plus forum. You can't start a forum for messenger whenever you like it, you have to ask Patchou for permission

Err well, THAT is the official french forum, and AFAIK is authorized by Patchou (he won't allow 5 different forums per language obviously). I'm not sure it has been launched though, but it's ridiculous to create a new one from scratch. Contact the current french forum managers and get into that project.
