I set up the POP3 email checker option and it works fine but wen the notification says 'email received' and i clik on it, my hotmail account opens.... not the POP3 email account (ie outlook)

um i dont know much about the POP3 email checker option but maybe u did one of the following:

1. this is not one of the things u did but probably it does it automatic and does not show you.

2. maybe u clicked sumthing in a hurry for it wont show you

Your hotmail will open, instead of your POP3 account, because you need to specify there, what programs you want it to open when you click on it. Or else, only your hotmail will show up ...

See this screenshot. If you want internet explorer to open, type iexplore.exe in this space and internet explorer will open when you click on it next time...



If you want outlook to open, just type the exe file for outlook and it should open when you click it (I forgot whats for outlook, sori...)...
