I have had this problem now for 2 months. I cant login to my account.
I know that my email address and password are correct because i can login to my account at school but cant at home. Can anyone help me on this problem please.

do you have a firewall on your computer ??? make sure that it is turned off, or config it to allow messenger access to the internet

the error code is 800b0001. It doesnt login in. Oh and how do i turn a firewall off.

Try going into Start --> Run and type
regsvr32 Softpub.dll
regsvr32 Mssip32.dll
regsvr32 Initpki.dll

Also try clearing your Cache and SSL Certificates and if that does not work try Server Changer http://shoutbox.menthix.net/attachment.php?pid=273157.
