When I rightclick on an offline contact the menu item 'Set come-back message...' is always disabled. I have been able to use but since a few days it is disabled.
I can use the command /backmsg in a chat window where the contact is offline and then I do get the expected dialog.
I've reinstalled the latest plus after I uninstalled, removed everything from the HD. Before reinstallin I cheked the registry an it was clean ( no plus or patchou entries )
I use "windows messenger" ( 4.7.3000 ) on Win XP Home SP2
Messeger plus version 3.25.106
show on desktop : chosing this results in a crash off the messenger, sometimes when removing from desktop. Some I need to restart the messenger a second time before it is back operational.
open chat log : no log has been created with this contact yet.
cantact information... : just does a beep ( indicating an error ) and nothing else.
copy e-mail : results in "&zenden (complete@email.adres" where de e-adres is correct.
Rename contact... is disabled as expected ( i'm using windows messenger
Sound Events... opens de preference dialog and the correct tab is selected, the contact for which it is used is not selected but I don't know if this is expected to do so.
Notification... opens a dialog 'Notifications configuration'
So most of the things in the context menu are not working as expected. The normal menu stuff does work.
if ur using WinXP SP2, that could be the Problem, i had SP2 installed, running fine up untill 2 days ago it shat itself, i wonder if this problem would still happen if you were to uninstall SP2?
