I know this might sound noobish, but how can I focus on the page of the site that I open by using keyboard?

Mostly, after I opened the site I want, I could not focus on the link on the page.
If I pressed the TAB key, it only went to the address bar back and forth without going to (the links) on the page.

Normaly, if you press the tab key it will cycle thru all the objects on the page, this includes links...

But to select links only using the keyboard is actually a bad idea and will take a long time. You're far better of with using your mouse....

Yes, I completely agree that this is a bad idea.
But, my mouse is broken now and I want to wait until the sale on Monday

Anyways, I have figured it out.
I just need to open a new tab and close it.

What browser are you using? In Firefox there is find as you type so you can just type the name of the link and it will take you too it.

I find using the keyboard more actually speeds up computer usage in general. My best tip for becoming better at using computers is to learn to love your keyboard. Having more than 100 keys beats the 2 or 3 buttons a mouse has (or more if you have a mouse like me )

I'm using Avant Browser.
And I heard that useful feature in Firefox.
Hopefully, it will be implemented on Avant.

I am actually learning to love my keyboard lately.
I only have a 3-button mouse, which uses 2 AA batteries like an SUV. lol

CookieRevised was right about pressing the tab key will cycle through all the objects on the current page.
I tested that on IE.
Evidently, there is a bug on Avant.
