maybe (if you dont want to use ActionScript) you should look at a Gif Animater

just images, that move.

I know, but to me flash is basically the same as GIF...wahts the differents! (im jsut talkijgn about animations)
They both have frames...? don't they?
flash mx is so crowded and so many different buttons....confuses me....

umm sort of the same, they both animate.

but Flash produces swf files which cant be used tge same as Gif's and vice versa.

Flash is good for Games (Flash Games at school never hurt anybody )
and Movie's and stuff.

basically the User can interact with a Flash file, but cant with an Animated Gif.

Gif's are good for just images , animated emoticons, avatars and signatures (for forum use ), you see?
