if you choose a specific colour scheme for a certain contact's conversation window, and you use messenger plus! alerts, it would be cool if that pop-up could be coloured.

At the moment, I have about 10 contacts that i like to get pop-ups from, the rest I have turned off, and they all have a specific colour scheme so I can identify them easily, If the alert window changed colour depending on that colour scheme, it would be fantastic,

That would be pretty cool actually, I really like the idea ...

OpenConvo has a green and red toast, or don't you mean the toasts?

yeah, i want to be able to change the colour of the toasts for individual contacts.

I'm sure our dear Patchou could do this in Plus 3.50...
I'd like it too, as it would mean all my toasts would be black, which is how I like them.
Unless I wish to eat them, in which case they should be golden brown

Yeah, i got that, but I mean, that guy who made OpenConvo knows how to color them , he could maybe pass this information on to patch, or maybe he already knows how to do it...

OpenConvo probably makes fake pop-ups, just like Messenger Plus! does

I'd nick UIFILE 921 from msnmsgr.exe and alter that to what I want it to look like.

yeah, but it doesnt trick msn messenger into making a popup, it just makes the image pop-up itself.
