I've just switched to my old desktop as my laptop is away being fixed, I installed msg Plus 3.25.106 with MSNM 6.2 on windows 98. I can't open the encryted log file that I copied over even though all the versions are the same other than the OS, that's XP. I'm using the same pass and everything, but I can't get into the logs. Is there any back door into them?

You have to use the "export" feature in options, then on your old laptop you use the "import" feature. And no there isnt a backdoor into them.

Could you be a bit mopre specific with 'options'? like what program and what tab?

not 100% sure, but doesnt windows xp use a different level of encryption than 98. I seem to remember being offered an update for 2000 that changed to 128bit encryption.
