Hello there!
I've installed Msn 7 BETA version and I also installed messenger plus! version 3.40
But the extention doesn't work!
It says that i maybe need a new version and that I have to check te site for updates, but as we all know this is the latest version.
I'm sure I installed the latest version. What do I need to do? I also have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times, doesn't work.

Could you post a screenshot of the problem?

Which language version of MSN Messenger 7 do you have?

Both versions are in dutch, i could make a screenshot of the problem but because it al IS in dutch you may not understand.. Do it anyway?

Make sure you are installing the Plus! version from this post:

  I need some help with this when I had messenger 6 I had messenger plus whitch was great but now that I downloaded
messenger 7 BETA I tried to download messenger plus but I did it several time but nothing happend so I tried to get back messenger 6 but I could not so here I am asking for an answer
can you pleas tell me how to get messenger plus by having also messenger 7 BETA
       PLEAS HELP ME!!!!!!!

Is anything preventing you from installing it (program)?
Did you install on an account with adminpriviledges (if not sure reboot into safemode and install on account called "administrator", maybe something is wrong with the priviledges).

I only have one account on this computer.
I didn't install any other program what could have prevent it from running so I really can't find anything that causes it?

Maybe AdAware Pro, there's a feature called AdWatch that prevents installing.
