And the DS and PSP have a lot of dead pixel problems (I'm going to get insurance for my PSP. If it has a dead pixel I'm gonna return it! Dead pixels SUCK!).

i got 1 dead Pixel in my 17 inch LCD but tis not annoying enuff to worry bout it , plus i dont think some wont replace a monitor unless there are up to a certian amoiunt of Pixels dead,

That's the rule. You need at least ~8 random dead pixels or a cluster of ~5 dead ones in one spot usually.
You can usually get extra insurance or warranty covereage for these dead pixels for about $30 more on monitors and $15 more on portable devices (and it's well worth it!)

I mean radiation. LCD screens give off A LOT less radiation.

  thats true but at the end of the day i cant be assed doing that , , prefer just to either go out an buy a new updated monitor or get the old one replaced an just pay  for the pixels to fixed or whatever than lose the warranty on something that i may need d down the rack whn im desperate for it

And why would you rather pay $400 for a new monitor or w/e than $30 for an extended warranty/pixel insurance?
