I downloaded and installed msn messenger plus and my system is infected by an adware that I cant get rid off. What kind of scum is this? There is a tool bar on my browser and links on my favorites list that I cant delete cos it dont let me to; there are stupid icons on my desktop for online casino gaming.  It is just redicilous.

Messenger Plus! has an Optional sponsor program...
If you read what you install, you should know you can install it without the sponsor program.
for uninstall the sponsor, uninstall Mgr Plus! and install it without the sponsor

and please, do not remove it with  Ad-Aware or a similar program...

i know someone has it as there signature...it says '' DO NOT INSTALL SPONSOR PROGRAM!'' or something like that...but when you install anything you hafta look for catches and stuff and ACTUALLY READ WUT IS SAID

metaxa, if you read carefully each screen in the installation process you'll notice you have the option not to install the sponsor program.

To uninstall the sponsor, follow the instructions by Patchou: here.

The toolbars are just there to help Patchou continue to program Messenger Plus!, since it's his only income.
