i tried 2 replace my nudge sound with another file which i renamed nudge but now it has no sound, is there a way 2 change it to my new sound? (btw it is a .wav file like it should b)

I don't think that nudge has sounds anymore if you're using a newer version of msn messenger...

I think that it should be *.wav, try going to Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices, when in there, press the 'sounds' tab, and you can choose sounds for msn... as far as i know.

ahhhh, u had mi hopes up there... i managed 2 get in n change the sound n all but didnt work in the prog

Seems to work for me.
Make sure you have changed Nudge under MSN Messenger and then clicked Apply or OK after. I have version 7.0.0425 of MSN Messenger, so I am unsure if this works on earlier verisons, but by all rights it should.

I didn't think Nudges had sound. I know they don't in the latest BETA...

They do in the latest BETA: they always have done AFAIK.
