Any reason .BMP images aren't loading in the browser?

umm, that's normal behaviour, there is no normal browser which supports bmp :-/

Edit (UPDATE)

* DJeX finds out that it's not the actual file but it's the way the forum made the link to the picture. I think it must have something to do with the numbers of the attachment "390417" conflicting with the code in the attachment.php or in IE when the link is executed. Most likely it's IE causeing the problem because I can't see how a .php code could force paint to open with the pic.

I uploaded the same pic to my server and it loads fine

Hmm... it seems that images with a mime type of "image/x-bmp" won't open in the browser, while "image/bmp" works fine. :-/

I'll code a quick filter to change x-bmp to bmp.
