you may have saw on www.neowin.net that ntl are upgrading their boardband service but one thing it says that 300k will get upgraded to 1mb but have a uage cap of 3gb (but you can stay at 300k and have 30gb usage

what does that mean

Hi,

yes, the capped download capacity is how much data you can download in one month before your internet is cut off until the new month has began.

However, this may not be too much of a complimentary substitute, but there are rumours that if you reach your monthly usage, your internet will be capped to 56k, this may be slow-as-hell olden day sorta speeds , how-ever it's still better than not being on the internet at all.

Personally, i'm currently on 1.5mb with them so i'm being upgraded to 3mb, with a bandwidth cap of 40gb... which i think is well enough for me

mite just stay at 300k and have 30gb

limits just suck !!! get a provider that has no limit its alot easier

well i use http://www.giointernet.co.uk never really had any problems, tey was abit of downtime a few months ago but ever since then its been fine. its £19:95 for 512 and £27.95 for 1mb. that may sounds abit dear now since other companys are lowering they prices, but these have been the prices for the last year n half. so hopefully they will go down soon

Aurora Cable Internet is good. 9 mbps, no limit for $40 CAD a month. You have to live in Aurora or Oak Ridges, Ontario though.

i mite just stay with ntls upgrade to 1mb and 3gb cap. i am sure i don't use that much in a month

if u download anything of the internet u will use that very very soon. my family would probably use that in a couple of days
