Hey guys, in windows media player i noticed something and i was wondering if i could fix it

If you look in the attatchment you'll see that for one song it displays the name of the artist singing the song and in the other it doesn't

I don't know why, i have the name of the artist and the song for both songs, but only 1 shows the name

It says 'unknown artist' for 'since you've been gone'

Does anyone know why it says that...?

The ID3 Tags of the File do not have the "Artist" Tag filled out. Get a program that will let you edit them and give that a shot.

ive got another problem. when i changed the artist name it changes but when you re-order them it changes back.

Because WMP is looking on the internet to find artist information, and it doesn't find any, therefore it removes the tags. TBH, get a better media player such as Winamp.

winamp isnt that good actually, i like wmp 10 better
only thing u can do in winamp is watch movies and listen radio but the best servers are always full :/
