Emoticons are not in the proper place on MSN Messenger toasts when custom names are enabled.

weird. never noticed that

i dont want to create just a thread for one question.. but seeing that you're talking about custom names.. shouldn't we be able to use custom names just for the contacts we want? i mean.. i would like to rename some contacts, but not all of them.. anyone thought of that?

Thats already possible. You don't need to set custom names for everyone only the ones you want.

i noticed it, one time i got a popup from my friend and i had both

it said

Friend Says
:P

then when i went to the convo it was only one .

i had Custom Names on.

i noticed it too
it was still in the new plus beta

i reported, patchou fixed

Funny thing is I tested it with Patchou and sent him screenshots and he never fixed it. He said it was fixed before and it wasn't... notice when the date of the Post was?

Well, it is supposed to be fixed in the latest beta version of 3.50, isn't it Matty?

Yes it is, you are limiting the length of the custom name so it is no longer then the email itself so the emoticons placed by Messenger are not in the wrong location .
