hmm, guys.

My computer and my little brothers computer can sing into MSN. but my mothers cant .

i've forwarded port 1863 to her. is there any other ports that need to be forwarded?.

what other solutions is there.

It worked earlier today. She's using the new BETA (Actual Release not leaked v).

You don't need to forward any ports to use MSN Messenger. The only time you need to do such a thing is when an application acts as a server, which MSN Messenger does not.

Either try downgrading to 6.x, or maybe it's just bad luck. There are about 6000 servers, so it's more than likely some are down.

The error code and a bit of an explanation on "cant sign in" would help also.

i had that error code earlier. Just close messenger completely and try again. That works for me
