how to set default settings in msn 6.2 with no plug-ins or sometin like that

just plain 6,2

You would have to do it in the registry since there is no Reset Defaults button in the Options for MSN Messenger. Do you feel comfortable going in the registry?

Default settings for Plus or what?

just uninstall it completely, delete the folder in program files after ur dont uninstalling and delete all the folders in files under msn messenger in application data, then reinstall 6.2 and thhat should do  it

i'd do it but its for my friend and i dont wanna let him go into registry..

HKEY_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger\PerPassportSettings\%UserID%

Get User ID

And you can delete the folder Key with the UserID in the registry.
