O.P. Custom Emoticons
When u add emoticons, ie using mess.be's customess, where can you find the actual files of these emoticons in explorer.
Also, how do you add animated emoticons, is there a special file type??? cos i've tried adding gifs but they dont work

By adding gif files into beta 7, they should animate?? cos mine dont, also are the CEs menna be .dat files so u cant view them?

you can rename them to .png
and have you tried adding lots of animated ones? because sometimes some ones dont animate

With MSN7, I think you have to do more than just rename the file. I think the CEs and DPs are encrypted in some way.

Yar.. the same way as you add normal emoticons and as long as it is an animated gif it should work well mine do

With the animation, it may be the number of frames.. Sometimes this can cause a problem. Or try re-starting ur MSN then adding them again. Would you mind showing us the animated emoticons you are trying to add?
And there is something I have that can get emoticons and things off ur computer.. In the right file type. It was in a thread somewhere. I'll try to find the thread, otherwise i'll have to try and send you the program and hope it works.
