O.P. PPS/PPT to WMV/AVI/MPG
HI

Does anyone know how to convert a MS Powerpoint slide show to a WMV/AVI/MPG video file? Preferrably free software/tools please ;)

Thanks in advance

what you could do, is get camtasia, and simply screen record your presentation, google camtasia, there is like a 90 day free trial ;).

There is no program that converts Powerpoint presentations to video file. Like traxor said, you can try program like Fraps ;)

aah cool thanx. Will this program not take up lots of resources and make my PC slow while screen capturing. I tried to use the Screen Capture thingy in Windows Media Encoder but made computer extremely slow while capturing and the colours of the recording were also shite.

CamStudio captures whatever is output to your video card and for example if you will move mouse during converstion - it captures it too. So, my advice for You is Presentation to Video Converter with very good quality converstion.  More info and features can find here: http://www.geovid.com/presentation_to_video_converter

Hey
few days ago i was searching web for a good ppt 2 video converter and found out that so many people advise to try geovid soft. so i downloaded a free trial version and tested it. wow! looks great. easy to use, converts to any video format you need, burns dvd (so it also may be called a dvd burner (Y)).. well i'm delighted.
