First of all: This topic is meant for requests and answers what the name/artist of a song used for custom emotion sounds is.
Some basic rules:
- No illegal links and NO download links (unless it is work like Memories of Tomorrow)
- No "slowchat", only questions and answers on names of songs
An example how to ask:
quote:
Hey, what's the name of the song with ID #123456789012
or
quote:
Hey, what's the name of the song "XYZ" with ID #123456789012
An example how to NOT ask:
quote:
XYZ?
or
quote:
WHATS XYZ?!
How to find the interal sound ID
Go to the Sound Library located in the Plus! menu
Go to the sound you wanted to ask the title/artist for
Click on "Edit Sound"
There you'll see the internal number, make a note of it.
Because of the title isn't always the msgplus soundname, this soundID can be usefull
Tnx CookieRevisited for informing me about this
How to add songs using SoundID:
Simply play the song in a conversation like you would play it otherwise by using the sound command. eg: /sound #123456789012
By doing this the sound will always be added automatically to your personal sound library after it has been downloaded.
- To also trigger the automatical download, enable:
Plus! > Preferences > General Options > Sounds > Automatically download custom sounds when needed
- To also trigger the automatical playing, enable:
Plus! > Preferences > General Options > Sounds > Automatically play custom sounds when ready
- To also trigger the automatical adding to your sound panel in a conversation, enable:
Plus! > Preferences > General Options > Sounds > Show newly recieved sounds in the sound panel by default
All played, downloaded and uploaded sounds are always added to your sound library!. But you can select what sounds are shown in your sound panel in a conversation menu.
You HAVE to give us the soundID, because titles can be used more then once...
I hope this thread is usefull for some of you!
