why cant i send certain people animated emos and they wont see it, but they can send me some. and some people can see the ones that others cant. and we both have the same builds

Sometimes animated emotions don't work with the beta build of Messenger. It should be fixed in the full release (hopefully next month)

but how come it works for some but not others?

I'm not exactly sure but since it is a Beta Build...you can't expect everything to work right all the time.

Sometimes the transfer of the emoticons are incomplete thise they show up as a blank area. Other then that if they see the text that is used for your custom emoticon then it is because their version of MSN Messenger obviously doesn't support it.

lol ive tried over 20 times. and i sent the person an animated emo (the file) they set it as a custom emo, and could send it to me.

Your contact will have to clean out their cache (Temporary Internet Files). This will clear the blank emoticon that has been sent and should allow them to view the file.
