O.P. Count Down Script

How do you make a count down script that is corrcet and changes on its own like the birthday one (e.g. 2 mounts, 1 week, 5 days, 50 secs till by bday) if it is possible on these forms

eg:
[countdown]29-3-2005 10:00:00[/countdown]
=
7179 days, 6 hours, 58 minutes, 16 seconds ago

note: time is in GMT format
