i just got photoshop 8, CS

anyhoo its differant to elements that i have been using a couple of problems i rekon u could help with. these are all just things i found in the first few minutes of using it

i know there are a lot of changes and some of this may no longer be possible but here goes.

first i want the main menu at the top like i had, but i cant find the right one.


next
in elements when i close one of these boxes it just reapears in the menu and is docked and can be moved around and redocked just by putting it there.

however in this version i close it and it dissapears and doesnt dock


and finnaly (for now)
i get this error when ever i select a new shape, style, filter etc

You mean Photoshop Cs.. dont you?.. try reinstalling, something got corrupted in my opinion.. never happened to me that .. very strange error

I know it is not an error.. i actually was talking about the other things he said

om i presume its part of the settings that need configuring.

yeh i didnt know i just looked in the about part and it said 8 and so did the place i got it from
