Hello,

I have a long time the great Messenger Plus, but with the update 3.5 have i a problem.
Some messages and emotions can i or my chatpartner not read/see.
We have this problem with more persons.

We have reinstall 3.5 butt the problem is always there
Now i have 3.4 and there is that problem not.

Someone else?

i think there was a Bug in 3.50 an the leaked 7.0.0732. go into the Bug Report area an you may find something your lookinf for that may explain your problem

You'll have to be more specific then that though. Where can't you see emoticons? In screen names? In custom names? Are those custom emoticons or normal emoticons?

Anyways, if you have trouble expressing yourself in English, you could post it in Dutch and someone will translate it for you. Or you can go to the Dutch Messenger Plus! forums: http://msgplus.menthix.com/.


As we don't fully understand you, we can only guess. So here are some threads you might want to read(?):
* personalized name disables emoticons
* no emoticons
* Cannot view smileys in nicks
* Custom Names when chatting

Het gaat zich vooral om de custum emotions.
Ik heb het probleem in de gesprekvensters. De andere gesprekspartner ziet ineens geen enkele reactie meer. Ik hou er namelijk niet van om niet meer te reageren voordat ik heb afgesloten....

Hoop dat iedereen het en beetje kan volgen...

It's about the custom emoticons.
The problem happens in conversation windows. My contact suddenly doesn't see any (re)action anymore from me. I always react before I close/shut down/....

Well, this is even more vague then before (hence I couldn't translate it decently); Before you close what? the conversation? The computer? What do you mean with "reactie" and "reageren"? You typing a message? Sending something like emoticons? A sound? What?

And what exactly happens when the contact doesn't seem to recieve anything? Does he get an errormessage? Do you get an errormessage?

Etc...

I strongly suggest to post in the Dutch forums instead, as I think you could explain it better in Dutch. But remember to give a proper full detailed report of what happens, what you think should happen, etc. (on both sides). Also mention your full version number of MSN Messenger, Messenger Plus! and your Windows.
