You have probably forgotten to activate the key lock on your cellphone. I have never had a Siemens my self, but i guess the ? appear when you hit # twice. So you have pressed 6, 9 and # which is underneath eachother by a mistake, and later pressed the Save-key by a mistake. Very common!

maybe you just didnt have key lock on and its saved itself.

i used to get those all the time on my old phone but my new one has autolock so it doesnt tend to happen
