ok due to the poll being successful i've decided to re-do this plugin. ill code it in C++.

Features Supported (hopefully)

• Winamp (any version)

Ill update this page and ill put the date in the thread title when i update so people know if its been updated.

Do you think the program needs a new GUI. if so tell me what it should look like. maybe draw one up or tell me something you would like to see in it.

also please post of any media players or features you would like to see in the new version .

I've began coding right now the current program can only get the songname from Winamp. ill post it up and if you can be bothered just tell me if it gets the songname's artists and Songnumber's correctly.

edit 1: Removed the MFC Part

I got an error saying "The ordinal 5084 could not be located in the dll MFC42D.dll

Man, so many .dll files I needed to download

lmao. no dude. i just wanted to see some shit. its not anywhere near finished this thread is just to get some more ideas for it than just Writing some text onto an image.

edit: btw you need to have winamp running. so it can get the song title.

well firstly fix up that bug of winamp not running , would it be possible for you to easily integrate Itunes and Windows Media player through parsing the Personalised message text if they have "turn on what i'm listening to" . Or you could have an option to click if your using one of these 2 players and it would auto-activate this?

before i release im sure ill create my own functions to get the current song playing from these players. ill just get winamp working first. make the text parse correctly and setting/saving on the images. then ill make it more flexible for other players.

and yes ill fix that error up if winamp is on

Is it easy to find the offset to see what text is in the personalised message ?

Maybe you should change the color of the window.
It's a little bit hard to read.

And I personally dislike the boxes which contain "Artist," "Song," "Artist Line," "Font," etc.
It shouldn't be put in boxes
