When sending a file, sometimes the progress bar just disappears, not sure if this is a messenger or msgplus bug. I am using messenger 7.0.0632 and msgplus 3.50.124. No other addons, any ideas?

i'm pretty sure it is not a plus! bug. did this happen to you with previous versions of msn?

msn 7 is still in beta mode, so i say it is at fault here

This happens to me too. I think it's MSNs fault, since I had this problem before I had Messenger Plus. Just live with it for now.

hm, I'm using the last version of Plus! and the final version of MSN Messenger, and it happens to me too. I think it has started to happen when I've activated the personal nicks function...

I'm 99% sure this has nothing to do with Plus!

The best way to avoid this is to start transfers not long after opening the conversation window.

Can somebody confirm but doesnt Microsoft do something to the convo windows after they have been open a long time... to save on server space/bandwidth or something like that???

MSN messenger 7.0 final has been released and this problem is still here...guess they were too lazy to fix all the bugs before releasing it as "final"

When you open a conversation window a 'session' is created on a Misrosoft/MSN server. These 'sessions' do disappear after a period of inactivity, not sure how long. The 'session' is created when the first window is opened, a message need not be sent.

same thing happens to me. I dont see the bar or the file i send only a cancel link...

Sorry guys, turns out that all of that is actually incorrect for MSN Messenger 7.0.

When a conversation window is opened in MSN Messenger 7.0, no session request is sent to the Switchboard.
