nope it aint, , Sad that Microsoft are letting linux Win though , butt hey im not complaing bout that

they can let linux win as much as they want that doesnt mean they will win. TBH all anyone wants from an OS is to be able to run other things from it at the moment Windows is the best at that (for whatever reason) so will always win overall if you have to use a lot of programs which most people do.
longhorn should be out about August next year. it definatly will be out next year to fufill their contracts so dont worry about it. the main problem is getting people to buy it...

That news story is more relevant to businesses and industry, as home users will still most likely use Windows as their main OS.

i use Both .. but in Technology wise im leaning more towards Linux/unix   ,, even businesses are going for Linux, cheaper , look at the RedHat Desktop OS ,, thats sold more than Expected  so there above target lebels for that am Novel there another Big leader
