I've noticed this a few times now in the forum, so i'm sure it can't be people making the same mistake. Sometimes when people make a quick quote, the quote is replaced by "quick quote"

eg

to fix, try double clicking randomly somewhere away from the writing

That is because you have highlighted the q.quote button accidentally...

By doing this you have selected the <title="">, and this will show up when you press the button...

try it, highlight anything... I'll highlight something now and press your quick quote...

Traxor, I don't actually think people are doing that, they do actually quote the right thing, but it appears as "quick quote"

Just tried selecting the button then clicking it: Stiggy's right.

How do you do this quick quote i've never heard of it.

Quote and quick quote are the same a reply and quick reply. So the quick quote just goes to the quick reply section.

Didn't you people understand what I said ... lol...

I've already told you in normal people's terms . lol...

When highlighting something and pressing quick quote then the highlighted bit is quoted... but the name of the person that you "quick quote" will be in the [quote=name][/quote]
