How can I remove these?

Messanger plus 3 is not showing in the Add or Remove programs list so I am unable to do this the official way.

Yes, I have read that. Messenger plis 3 is not in the list when I open up Add or Remove programs. That is the problem

Run the installer (choosing to install the sponsor) to fix the installation, then follow the instructions in that other thread.

Ok this is what you do.

[list=1]
[*]install messenger plus! again WITH the sponsor
[*]now go to add/remove and it should be there because all the files were rewritten
[*]choose to take off the sponsor
[*]you are done
[/list]
