I just read an article in the paper while I was looing at the cartoons () about "Internet2" and "CA net 4". They're basically an ultra high-speed internet connection. Hackers have been using it to get out cracks, rips, movies, music and other illegal files as fast as possible (and there is now a lawsuit against some of them for using it for that purpose). As an example in a demo of the connection - they downloaded a full length, DVD quality copy of "The Matrix" in 30 seconds o.O

its not hackers

it was set up between colleges, and the pupils were transporting music files which brought about copyright issues

It sounds pretty cool to me, I think that within the next few years, that will be a common thing, people won't need to go to the shops to buy cds or whatever, they'll just download them...

They won't even have to order them off of the net, they'll just buy them, then download them...
