Well, i don’t know if this is a MSN problem or my (my friends) problem, but i have had a lot of requests from my friends (5 people to be exact) asking' me to get back their MSN account because none of them can log in. All of em' get the same message. either that they have made too many unsuccessful attempts to sign-in or that their passport is not correct.

This can’t be a coincidence because none of these people are linked (meaning that no one is trying to get in to their account) and I’m sure they did not forget their password.

I really can’t figure out the problem, but I know there is one, because every time I reset the password and tries to change it, funny stuff happens, like after I change the password (I get the password confirm message too) I still have to use the old one to login.

Can anyone help me out of my misery and tell me what’s going on?

tried emailing Hotmail/MSN Messenger services bout this?

Nop, but i'm still in doubt if its their problem or not, if any of u guys had this problem, then i will be emailin' (and flamin) them ASAP

yea i've got same problems. I have had them from the day i downloaded and started to use messenger 7. imho, msn messenger 7 is full of shit.

This used to happen to me. Try this .... it worked for me.
What i usually do is save my password with windows (u know .... remember my password) and when it says my pw is wrong or unsuccessful sign in attempt then i try again. If it still aint working then (as it isnt 4 u) i click on the sign in with another user account. I keep the user name the same and just retype the password and tell it to sign it. It works for me .... does it work for u ?
