Hi.
Is anyone getting the same problem as me?
Every nown and again my MSN Messenger 7.0.0777 just disappears! I'm just minding my own business, chatting away and it just all closes down. Most of the time it doesn't evan come up with a send error report window aswell. It's starting to really bug me! Is this just a thing with MSN Messenger 7 at the moment and how many of you are having this problem? Or is it something to do with my computer and the programs I'm running?

I am currently running:
MSN Messenger 7.0.0777
Messenger Plus! 3.52.130
StuffPlug Next Generation 2.2.47

It isn't a problem with Messenger Plus! afaik, I'm pretty sure that it's a problem with MSN Messenger itself, there is a lot of things like this occuring at the moment...

I heard that if you rename the msn messenger folder, then the problems no longer occur, but that's only what I heard, nothing else, give it a try...

I'm sure that the bug will be fixed in the latter versions of MSN Messenger...

Happens to me to occasionally, drop kicking your computer out the window ususally does the trick

Have you tried reinstalling/restarting? Also installing any Windows Updates is a good idea.

Ok i thought it was just MSN Messenger, I'll just wait a new version. My computers all up to date, I check every week.

one hour ago I downloaded Messenger 7.0 from the official MSN website http://messenger.msn.fr/ and now another friend tried to download it from there and they are back to 6.2! Too many problems with 7.0.0777??

I doubt that is the case unless there has been a major security flaw discovered and they aren't able to produce an updated version quick enough, but normally I think they would just be working on an updated version which fixes the bugs and release that soon. Havn't known them to hold back a version to a lower one because of this.

Umm i think i found something strange.. with Poligamy Enabled the MSN Shuts down by itself and sometimes a message appears saying that the server is down, but when i go to the Service Status everything seems to be OK.. i tested that with (MessPatch (Poligamy) and the StuffPlug Poligamy) now i removed that feature and everything seems to be ok..

Currently using

Windows Version: Windows XP, 5.01.2600
Messenger Client Version: 7.0.0777
Messenger Plus! Version: 3.52.0130

And Latest StuffPlug Version..
