Ok when i try to change the sound on an alert and in the sounds on Messenger Plus i browse for the certain file but nothing shows up and i know its there any ideas ? And Im Using Itunes

you mean the show playing track feature in the personal message?

or am i way off? sorry if i am...

you can use messpatch to enable it for itunes, if you already have that, u may have to activate it in msn, and in itunes (probably in a plugins section for it)

download messpatch

just to let you know, patching the msn messenger .exe file is illegal...

make sure the sound type is supported by msgplus

if it doesnt show up and its there chances are it isnt supported

you can convert to mp3 or any other supported filetype with dbPowerAmp

im trying to do it in sounds i think the itune files are MPG4 and when i browse for the song it dosent show up

mpg is video aint it? mp4 can b audio i think.....

try the converter LJ suggested. AFAIK msgplus doesnt support mp4's...

K i downloaded the converter and the itunes files still dont show up? and the other songs i had form cd;s i got this error,

The CODEC required to decompress '' could not be opened.
.CDA files can only be converted from a CD Drive, not a hard disk.

rip the cd's using windows media player...if u have it, or winamp i fink does it... loads of stuff does actually, with wmp u can choose what to rip it as, if u change the rip settings set it to mp3 128bit (cd quality) ....its .wma as a default

You can only use WMP to rip to MP3 if you buy an addon for it. And if you're going to use WMA, use 192kbps.
