I am using:
Windows Version: Windows XP, 5.01.2600
Messenger Client Version: 6.2.0205
Messenger Plus! Version: 3.52.0130

Previous version of Messenger Plus! was 3.25 and i updated to 3.52
been slack with my updating.

I installed Powertoys for Windows (ALT+TAB) modification.
You know when you alt+tab and it shows image of window you are tabbing to.....

Anyway tabbing to MSN Messenger removes the cursor from the text part and i cannot post any message to that user.    I gotta hit ESC and then open window again to chat to them.......   very annoying

How is this a problem with Messenger Plus!? Have you fully uninstalled Messenger Plus! rebooted your PC and tried it? I highly doubt that this is a bug caused by Messenger Plus! but that of Power Toys and the custom UI on MSN Messenger.

I have uninstalled Power Toys and now everythign works fine.

I will test it to see if it only affected Messenger Plus

I ran a test just before.

Powertoys uninstalled: Messenger Plus had no problem running.

Powertoys installed, Messenger Plus uninstalled: MSN Messenger 6.2 had no problem running.

Powertoys installed, Messengre Plus installed: ALT+TAB to active messenger window makes it unable to type a message to the other user.  Need to close window down and then open again and type a emssage. 

Also, if you don't close and ALT+TAB out and back in, you can actually see what you typed but still doesn't let you add to it.

I'm assuming Messenger Plus....
